Alex Harrison, MA, LPC Registered Associate
About:
My goal as a counselor is to provide a space where a client feels safe to explore themselves and their emotions. Sometimes just voicing how one feels is extremely powerful. I entered this field so I could walk through this process with those who may not have another space to do this. I use a variety of techniques because there is no one size fits all in therapy.
Brene Brown says "Daring greatly means the courage to be vulnerable. It means to show up and be seen. To ask for what you need. To talk about how you're feeling. To have the hard conversations." By just showing up you have taken the first step to becoming the best person you can be. We all have strengths inside of us though we may not always see them ourselves. Together we can identify those strengths and gain new perspectives. I am here to provide a judgement free space where these explorations are possible.

Scott Waters, MA, LPC
About:
One of the greatest joys I have is watching someone find more about themselves and the world around them. For myself, this process is best done with compassion, empathy, and some healthy challenge. I know that I need a place that is safe enough to risk being vulnerable as I approach my personal growth. I also understand that if I’m going to grow I need to push through my fear of being judged and rejected. This fear is normal and stops people often from coming to counseling.
I try to offer this to each of my clients; a safe space to discover how to be the best person they can be. My desire is to walk with you in whatever part of the life journey you are in, respecting who you are and who you want to become through this therapeutic relationship.
